About the event
Robert Parker holds a Master of Nuclear Science, and is a former President and former Vice President of the Australian Nuclear Association. He is also a WePlanet Australia member, and the founder of Nuclear for Climate Australia.
Rob has presented extensively to communities around Australia on the environmental and social benefits of nuclear energy. We are excited to hear his latest work, including an investigation into what might be the most suitable sites for Australia's first nuclear power plant.

Andrea Leong and Tyrone D'Lisle are President and Secretary, respectively, of WePlanet Australia. In May 2025, Andrea and Tyrone attended the nuclear energy short course offered by MIT and the Clean Air Task Force.
They will share highlights from this event where they learned from and interacted with global experts in all aspects of nuclear energy — including its climate credentials, the latest innovations in reactor design, radiation safety and regulatory requirements, and financing new nuclear builds.
